WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT

Cambridge has provided application development and maintenance services for various bespoke application on WMS processes including Receiving, Put Away, Storage, Inventory Replenishment, Cycle Count / Stock Take, Value Added Services, Outbound Order Processing, Picking, Packing and Shipping.

Cambridge has been a part of consulting, conceptual data modeling and application management services of WMS solutions including few major leading third party products as well as bespoke development.

Cambridge WMS workstream offers services on application management services and in progress for establishing implementation services on various third party products

Few specific services executed include:
DC Director is a distribution package, which was developed using SYNON/2E on AS/400 by WCSS, USA. It provides a real-time warehouse management system by tracking merchandise and directing work flow in the warehouse through the use of 2 technologies, namely Bar Code Technology and Radio Frequency (RF) Terminals.

The distribution process functions provided by DC Director includes Receiving, Putaway, Replenishment, Order planning, Picking , Consolidation and Shipping and inventory control. Apart from these, there are Interfaces to other systems
