Scandent Wins $7.8 MM Software Contract from US State Government

Secures US$ 49 million of U.S. State Government contracts in last four months

Banglore, India - February 28, 2006: Scandent solutions, which has been gaining a lot of traction with Government health care projects in the USA, today announced a US$7.8 million contract from a U.S. State Government. The 18 month contract involves re-platforming the States system and covers an additional 6 months of warranty.

With this win, Scandent has now secured healthcare applications and development business of US$49million from three states in the USA over the last 4 months, which collectively are to be delivered over a three year period.

The project which initially began as a transfer implementation of their in-house system, matured along the way into an @vantage-based platform. The @Vantage product line from Scandent Solutions provides a full suite of Citizen Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) capabilities for Health and Human Service (HHS) organizations.
